Ohio lawyers are regulated by the Ohio Supreme Court. The Court has issued rules of professional conduct that lawyers must follow.
It is the duty of the Butler County Bar Association Grievance Committee to:
- investigate a claim that a lawyer with an office in Butler County Ohio is guilty of professional misconduct; and
- investigate any professional misconduct by lawyers in Butler County that comes to the Committee's attention;
Clients and other persons who believe that a Butler County lawyer has violated the rules governing lawyer conduct may complain IN WRITING to the Butler County Bar Association Grievance Committee.
